Dog DNA Testing Highlighted in New Publication
THREE RIVERS, Calif., March 14, 2016, — DogHealth.com released its bimonthly newsletter to readers this weekend. In it, two articles were highlighted and linked to on the website.
"Prostate Infection in Dogs: Prostatitis” is a thorough article on the causes, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of prostatitis, which affects some male, unneutered dogs.
“Canine DNA Testing,” the second DogHealth.com article spotlighted in the newsletter, discusses what DNA testing in dogs is and why dog-owners should consider having it done on their pets. One reason is the risk of overreacting to some medications inherent in some dog breeds. Mixed breed dogs may not be identified properly by their looks, so testing can identify those that might be at risk.
The newsletter also contains a link to join and vote for winners of a quarterly contest for a $1000 prize at caninesuperstar.com.
A “For the Humans” section links to the article “Stress and Digestion” at HealthCompany.com, and a “Just for Fun” section has a Pisces dog horoscope.
