The UPS Foundation President Eduardo Martinez to Keynote Latino Leadership Conference
MIAMI, FL – The Council for Latino Workplace Equity (CLWE) is proud to announce the appointment of Eduardo Martinez, Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer of UPS and President of The UPS Foundation, as keynote speaker for the Latino Leadership Conference, which will take place August 11, 2016, in Miami, Florida.
“As the Council for Latino Workplace Equity continues to grow, we are honored to have individuals such as Eduardo Martinez support our mission of workplace equity for all Latinos,” said Dennis Kennedy, Founder and Chair of the National Diversity Council.
Mr. Martinez joined UPS in 1976 as a package handler in UPS’s South Florida operation where he subsequently entered the management ranks within operations and the Industrial Engineering functions. He continued to progress steadily throughout his career, including serving as Corporate Counsel, eventually attaining his current role as President of The UPS Foundation and Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer of UPS. He is responsible for its global philanthropic, employee engagement, corporate relations and diversity and inclusion programs.

The Latino Leadership Conference will begin at 8:00am with breakfast and networking followed by concurrent sessions addressing leadership and professional development for Latinos in the workplace. During lunch, Mr. Martinez will deliver his keynote speech while the council honors the Top Latino Leaders of 2016.
