Internal Medicine Physician, Hemangi Sane, MD, to be Published in The Leading Physicians of the World as New Member of the International Association of HealthCare Professionals, IAHCP
The International Association of HealthCare Professionals is pleased to welcome Hemangi Sane, MD, Internal Medicine Physician, to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in The Leading Physicians of the World. She is a highly-trained and qualified internal medicine physician with a vast expertise in all facets of her work, including stem cell therapy and neurological disorders. Dr Sane has been practicing for more than fifteen years and is currently serving patients as Deputy Director and Head of Research and Development of Stem Cell Therapy at the NeuroGen Brain & Spine Institute, StemAsia Hospital and Research Centre, a centre for stem cell therapy and neuro-rehabilitation located in Mumbai, India. Furthermore, she an ethics committee member for the Institutional Committee for Stem Cell Therapy at Lokmanya Tilak Medical College and Hospital, founding president of the Asha Ek Hope Foundation for ALS/MND, and consultant physician at Shushrusha Hospital.
Dr Sane received her bachelor of medicine, bachelor of surgery degree in 1999 at King Edward Memorial Hospital and Seth G.S. Medical College in India. In 2003, she also completed a three-year residency training in internal medicine at New York Medical College/Metropolitan Hospital Center. Dr Sane is board certified in internal medicine with the American Board of Internal Medicine. In order to remain up-to-date in the latest developments, guidelines, and procedures in her field, she maintains professional society memberships with the Indian Medical Association, the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians and the Stem Cell Society of India. Dr Sane received the International Women’s Day Award in 2013 from the Mayor of Mumbai City. She is also the chief coordinator for the International Association of Neurorestoratology, India. Furthermore, she envisions an independent and better quality of life for patients with neurological disorders, including Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). She received multiple awards over the course of her career and remains active in her field to continue increasing her standard of care.
