Ceramic Cherubs Earbuds Are Wired For Sound
Adelaide, Australia based company, Cherubs Audio Pty Ltd, has launched its chic Cherubs earbuds. These comfortable and chic ceramic earbuds are wired, challenging the current trend in wireless audio equipment. Cherubs are available on crowdfunding platform, Indiegogo.
Director of the company, Jason Kiger, said: “With Cherubs we are challenging the current trend in wireless earbuds. However, we believe our wired earbuds are better for a few major reasons. Firstly Cherubs don’t need to be charged and are preferable for those who are sensitive to wireless technology. They’re also more affordable; less than a third of the cost of wireless earbuds.”
He further added, “Furthermore, Cherubs earbuds won’t be lost or damaged if they fall out of your ear or from a surface. To prove this, we have drop tested them from a height of two meters. Also the wires are tangle resistant. Finally, they come with a three-button microphone and a set of adaptors.”
Cherubs have silicone ear inserts for a comfortable fit, and housing made from hypoallergenic hi-tech ZrO2 ceramic, a dense and durable material that ensures excellent audio quality.
The company’s crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo (http://igg.me/at/cherubs) is an opportunity for people to learn more about Cherubs earbuds. Once the initial campaign is successful, the company plans to expand its range to include multiple colors and also cater to those who would like customizable logos for merchandising purposes. The company also plans to launch a range of Cherubs that is comfortable and safe for children’s ears.
About Cherubs Audio Pty Ltd
Cherubs Audio Pty Ltd is an Adelaide, Australia based company founded by director, Jason Kiger. The idea for Cherubs earbuds was inspired; when on a flight from LA to China, Jason Kiger got chatting with a fellow passenger who worked in ceramics. They discussed the poor quality earphones given out by the airlines, and the pros and cons of different materials commonly used to manufacture earbuds, when the fellow passenger mentioned that ZrO2 ceramic is a material that compliments audio.
