Brownie’s Marine Group’s Signs First Dealership In Japan
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., July 2, 2014 Brownie's Marine Group, Inc. (OTCBB: BWMG), a leading developer, manufacturer and distributor of highly specialized dive and safety products, today announced that it has signed its first dealership and representation of the full Brownie’s line in Japan.
The dealership and representation of Brownie’s Marine Group products is headed up by Mr. Koji Tsuchiya who has a 20 year ongoing history of teaching SCUBA diving. Outside diving, Mr. Tsuchiya is a boat captain holding a USCG 100 ton Master license and is also a Japanese representative for Yellowfin yachts and the connections into the boating market is important for the Brownie’s products.
The Japanese diving marketing is said to count 3-4 million certified divers with a growth of an additional 100,000 or more every year. Already Mr. Tsuchiya already has showcased some of the Brownie’s products at a Marine Show in Okinawa and the visitors “loved the Brownie’s” according to Mr. Tsuchiya.
This is the very first representation of the Brownie’s products in Japan and it’s a great first step into what could grow into a substantial market for Brownie’s Marine Group. The Brownie’s products may be particularly suitable for the waters of waters of Southern Japan in the areas of Okinawa, Ogasawara and Izu. Especially perhaps for Okinawa, which according to Mr. Tsuchiya has crystal clear and warm water like Florida.
Concentration of Mr. Tsuchiya’s effort right now for the Brownie’s products is for the Japanese market, but Mr. Tsuchiya and Brownie’s Marine Group are eying the potential of other Asian markets too including the Philippines and Taiwan etc.
