Search Engine Optimization Companies Expanding Services

Summary: Looking to help their clients as efficiently as possible, many SEO companies are becoming de facto business management teams.

June 30, 2015, Eau Claire, Wisconsin-While search engine optimization still continues to be one of the most effective ways for businesses both new and old, big and small, to market themselves directly to potential customers, there are a plethora of other services that can help them become successful. After watching so many of their clients struggle to find separate companies to handle each of these needs, many SEO companies began to quietly expand their rosters and talent, and now have become one stop shops for all of their customer’s marketing needs.

“There is really so much that it can become overwhelming, and we hated to watch clients have a successful SEO campaign only to fail because of a poor website or limited social media presence,” said Jennifer Finnell, owner and president of Team Wildflower. Now entering its third year of business, Finnell started her company specifically to focus on small businesses and give them the same opportunity that bigger more established companies had.

While they still continue to offer their core SEO services, Finnell has grown her business to include a variety of other services, including complete website development, a complete creative services department to handle writing and logo creation, a team dedicated to public relations and personal promotion and also an extensive focus of social media management. Finnell points out that in particular as an important aspect, because people mistakenly think they know how to handle it.

“Social media goes far beyond the fun we all have on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter,” Finnell pointed out in a recent interview. “There are literally thousands of outlets specific to different industries that can and do have a positive impact on the companies that make the most of them. Because social media offers a platform on which not only to present yourself to your customers, but also to engage your customers – both present and potential – it has never been more important for your company to keep up with the latest and greatest in business-based social media trends.”

Already many SEO companies across the country are reporting strong growth in these new divisions, and many are even exploring further expansion into such fields as graphic design. The more they can keep the company in house, the more successful the overall media campaign will be.
