A London Based Multimedia Artist Launches Kickstarter Campaign for his Still Photography Project, STRANGER
STRANGER is a still photography project launched by Dan Rodriguez, a London based passionate multimedia artist and a gifted graphic designer. Born in Spain, Dan also completed his BA in Film and Media from the University of London. Moreover, he is also a street photographer and he started an underground movement in 2016, called Tubeography, which received a phenomenal response from the fans. STRANGER is a continuation of that movement in a whole new way.
Dan’s latest project is titled STRANGER and the still photography project will explore the role of the smartphone as a tool to find beauty in the era of surveillance capitalism. According to Dan, the smartphone allows for much closer street-photography, which offers the possibility to capture a more intimate image.
In addition, STRANGER is basically a unique photobook that will give a retro look of the 1970’s. The artist will publish only 100 hard copies of the book and each book will have a secret number to prove its originality. Therefore, the artist has recently launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter and he is welcoming everyone to generously support this initiative on the crowdfunding platform.
The Kickstarter Campaign is located on the web at: www.kickstarter.com/projects/rodriguezdesign/stranger and supporters from around the world can participate in this project by making pledges. Dan’s goal is to raise a sum of GBP 6500 with this campaign and he is offering this book as a reward to the backers with worldwide shipping. Due to the limited number of printed editions of the book, this is a limited time offer, exclusively for the supporters on Kickstarter and whoever comes first will get a chance to own this unique book.
STRANGER is a remarkable and ingenious photobook created by a London based multimedia artist Dan Rodrigues. He is now welcoming everyone to generously participate in the fundraising for the project on Kickstarter and his is offering this rare book as a reward. More details are available on the Kickstarter campaign page of the photobook.
