PSA Spokesperson Explains the Details of the Approaching Basic Appliance Training Conference to take place in Phoenix, AZ
The professional appliance repair organization will be conducting a three-day training workshop in December
Cohoes, NY-- The Professional Service Association (PSA), a national organization with special emphasis on professionalism and service tech education within the independent division of the appliance service industry, has declared that they will be holding a full three days of B.A.T. Training in Phoenix, AZ launching December 8, 2015, and finishing December 10. "We are all looking forward to taking our professional training presentation to Phoenix to help new service technicians learn how to launch an appliance repair business," stated a representative for the association.
The B.A.T., or basic appliance training, will give extensive training for appliance repair technicians (http://www.applianceschool.blogspot.com) in a very condensed and centered period. The 1st day of appliance school covers basic electrical safety and theories, Ohm's Law, series, parallel, combination circuits, use of test instruments and more to give technicians a better understanding of the innermost workings of many of today's appliances.
Day 2 of the appliance repair school will attend to the basics of gas; consisting of safety guidelines, gas codes and the appropriate use of testing and diagnostic instruments for servicing gas stoves, gas clothes dryers and gas water heaters.
Day 3 will focus on basic refrigeration, troubleshooting refrigeration systems, EPA guidelines and refrigerant recovery.
The BAT, led by Jim Campbell, PSA's main Appliance Technology Instructor, will be sponsored by the Appliance Parts Depot and held right at their facility at 3212 W. Thomas Rd; Phoenix, AZ, 85017.
