Lawyers Sue AAA of Michigan [07/04/2006]
A class action lawsuit was filed in the Eastern District of Michigan on behalf of plaintiffs, against the Automobile Club of Michigan. The lawsuit alleges violations of ERISA against defendant Automobile Club of Michigan (AAA), failure to maintain records, failure to credit hours of service required by ERISA, and violation of FLSA Claims (Fair Labor Standards Act) against defendant Automobile Club of Michigan. Plaintiffs Peggy Pauley, Zsa Zsa Richardson and Irene Plonka, all employees of the Automobile Club of Michigan, were told by the Automobile Club of Michigan that they were exempt from overtime payments under federal law, and that the Automobile Club of Michigan failed and refused to pay Plaintiffs and members of the Plaintiff Class overtime pay for overtime worked.

The lawsuit seeks to recover Automobile Club of Michigan employees' overtime payments that were not received.
